Mike leads the PPM team that ensures the company maintains its strong financial position. His responsibilities cover all financial operations, including financial reporting, treasury, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit and collections. He also brings his expertise to support management in other areas including purchasing, HR, IT, benefits, risk, contracts and bids. Mike works with other team members to establish the strategic plan and focus for the business so that PPM can continue it's position as a premier provider of mechanical and support services to the Power, Pulp & Paper and other industrial markets throughout the US.

 

Expertise

Bringing over 28 years experience in accounting, Mike's expertise includes management and performance of a wide array of accounting as well as other functions within multiple industries to include mining, paving, manufacturing, mechanical maintenance and construction.

 

Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the South Carolina Association of CPA's. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.

 

The Personal Side

Mike is married to Kathryn and has four children, Michael (8), Elizabeth (11), Meagan (21)and Hope (23). In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and has coached baseball and football teams for his children. Mike also enjoys hunting, fishing and all sports especially college football.
